Crud Spider is a band from Mount Pleasant Michigan. This dual drumming trio may seem like they may lack a bass player and vocalist, but have a ten ton sound. One of my "new" favorite Michigan/local bands! Crud Spider's two drummers, Keith and Sean, have very entertaining performing styles. Very similar to the percussionist from Slipknot as to how they move and perform.
Then add Ethan's guitar riff's that sound like he's is trying to summon a demon to walk the Earth. The best way to put it, is that Crud Spider is heavy and doom as fuck.
It's apparent in the band's influences, Matt Pike of Sleep and High on Fire, and a lot of surf music. The surf music is something they all find to have a made a musical impact on them, so much so that they by "request" the band will play surf tunes. (Thanks, Crud Spider) If you go to a show, make sure and say "hi" because these boys are very down to Earth and love meeting fans.
