The Spring Shorts Film Festival is an opportunity for any Michigan filmmaker to present their films and videos to an audience. Spring Shorts 2015 is an open-genre film festival, designed to promote local filmmaking in Michigan. Organizers are looking for any genre and style of film.

“It’s also a great way to kick off the spring season and show your support for the arts,” states organizer Nic White.  “We encourage creativity and challenge you to push the limits of your technical abilities to produce a project for our festival. It’s a celebration of our local filmmakers, and we want to show your film!”

“We are currently accepting film submissions in the categories of documentary, comedy, music video, drama, thriller, animation, experimental, or silent – we’ll take them all!,” he explains.

If you are passionate about filmmaking send your film into the festival. The committee is challenging filmmakers to produce a project to showcase at their festival.
