The Saginaw Township Business Association (STBA) is committed to educating voters in Saginaw Township about their candidates and the policies they represent, and is proud to announce two candidate forums to be held at the Vasher Theater at Heritage High School. These forums are scheduled for September 11th and September 18th, from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM.
The forums are designed to provide an opportunity for candidates to share their policies and plans if elected and for the community to engage with them directly.
Forum Details • September 11th: This evening will feature candidates for County Sheriff, Saginaw Township Treasurer, and the six candidates running for Saginaw Township Trustees.
• September 18th: Candidates running for the 93rd and 94th State Representative seats, Saginaw Township Clerk, and the four seats in the County Commissioners races will be present.
These forums aim to offer an invaluable opportunity for community members to learn about the individuals who will potentially represent the Saginaw Township area.
Moderators for these evenings will be Jimmy Greene and Shareka Martin. Questions for the candidates have been prepared by the political director from Saginaw Valley State University (SVSU), ensuring a comprehensive and relevant discussion on the issues that matter most to the residents of Saginaw Township.
The Saginaw Township Business Association is dedicated to supporting local businesses and fostering a vibrant community through events, education, and advocacy. The candidate forums are part of their ongoing efforts to engage with and educate our community on local governance.
