The Saginaw Spirit (41-16-3-2) extended its recent win streak to 7-straight games with an 8-6 win over the Hamilton Bulldogs at the First Ontario Centre in Hamilton, ON Saturday evening, before wrapping up the week with a 4-3 victory over the Erie Otters at the Erie Insurance Arena in Erie, PA on Sunday afternoon. 
 
Saturday, Saginaw's defensive corps were heavily involved in the offense with Ilya Solovyov and Bode Wilde each scoring 2-goals apiece respectively, as Mason Millman added 3-assists; while Spirit forwards Dalton Duhart, Danny Katic, Cole Coskey, and Damien Giroux each chipped in with single tallies, followed by Cole Perfetti and T-Bone Codd who contributed with 2-assists each respectively to round out the scoring.
 
On Sunday afternoon, Coskey and Giroux each scored second period power play goals to give the Spirit a 2-1 lead midway through the middle frame, while Perfetti extended the Saginaw lead to 3-1 with a late second period goal, before Danil Antropov capped the Spirit scoring with a goal in the third period.
 
Saginaw goal tender Tristan Lennox stopped 30 of the 33 shots he faced in net for the Spirit Sunday afternoon.
 
The Spirit will head to Windsor for a 7:05 pm face off against the Spitfires at the WFCU Centre Thursday night, before returning home to host the Otters for a 7:05 pm face off at the Dow Event Center on Saturday night.
