Six judges traveled every block, made notes and took a while to come to a consensus, but here are the results of the winners of the 2nd Annual Old Town Holiday Window Decorating Competition; sponsored by the West Saginaw Civic Association.  Each winner received a $100 gift certificate to Jake's Old City Grill and $15 of gift certificates to the Red Eye Cafe.

Special thanks to the many other Old Town merchants who also made the effort to make their stores capture the holiday spirit.  It was a tough time making a choice because of so many excellent windows.

Best Business Related:          Retro Rocks Pub & Grill.  A unique, contemporary Christmas tree; custom made, with each individual "branch" being an internally-lighted clear bottle that was formerly filled with an assortement of gins, vodkas and rums.  Great fun!

Best Tradional Display:         Adomitas Antiques.  Beautiful and authentic antique holiday apparel highlight the manquinns in the storefront of this costume shop, along with other finery and props from the 1800's and early 1900's.  Truly a beautiful sight.

Best Holiday Spirit:                Dynamic Corvettes.   A myriad of trees, a decorated corvette, and massive lighting displays make this the largest of all the efforts.  There's even a red, six-foot tall bunny adorned in a custom tailored santa suit.  Have a "hoppy" new year!
