Jason Marcoux

Jason Marcoux has been a sports writer and reporter for Review Magazine since 2001 after majoring in journalism at Central Michigan University. His first story for Review Magazine was a feature on local NBA basketball player Jason Richardson, who was playing his first NBA game at the Palace of Auburn Hills in the 2001-02 NBA season.

As a substitute teacher and assistant coach for many various school districts in the Great Lakes Bay Region, Jason is well-versed in regional sports.  He has also covered High School football, basketball, Cross Country, Swimming, Baseball, and Hockey as a freelance journalist for The Saginaw News and Mlive.com.

Jason has been Review Magazine's lead beat writer for the Los Angeles Dodgers' single A affiliate the Great Lakes Loons of the Midwest League since the 2010 season. He covered the Loons' 2016 MWL Championship.

He has also been Review Magazine's lead beat writer for the Saginaw Spirit of the Ontario Hockey League since the 2009-10 season.

Jason was the lead beat writer covering the Continental Indoor Football League's Saginaw Sting from 2008 through the 2015 season. He would cover the Sting's back to back championships in 2011 (UIFL) and 2012 (CIFL).
