Mid Michigan Waste Authority will host its annual Earth Day Celebration on Sat., April 23, 2016, from 10 am to 2 pm at the Children’s Zoo at Celebration Square in Saginaw. This popular environmentally-themed event promises a fun-filled day for children of all ages and their families. Unfortunately, The Bounty Hunter does not fare as well, unless your idea of a good time is to watch two ex-spouses verbally slam each other amongst a tapestry of clueless characters. The main reason for the stench in this film is the script, which is riddled with cliché’s, action movie standbys, and a confusing web of subplots.

Hubble 3D is a fresh documentary about the STS-125 Mission that took place in May, 2009. This was a routine maintenance mission for the Hubble telescope filmed in Imax 3D from the shuttle’s cargo bay.

On a cold January Friday night, bodies crowded into Court Street Gallery in Old Town Saginaw. Some people had come from Bay City, Midland, and even as far away as Mt. Pleasant, and the seats which had been set up in rows earlier in the day, quickly filled up until it was standing room only.

Dear Editor; I was glad to see your question to Prosecutorial candidates Mike Thomas and Tom Frank concerning the failure of the War on Drugs. How is this War working for Michigan?  Is it reducing crime?  Is it reducing rates of death and disease?  Is it effective in keeping drugs and drug dealers away from our children?  Is the quality of life better or worse because of the Drug War?  The Drug Enforcement Administration's charts show drugs are cheaper and stronger than in 1971.
