This exciting new adaptation captures the charm of Lucy Maude Montgomery’s enduring classic about an orphan girl, Anne Shirley. All the triumphs and tragedies that mark Anne’s growth are here: her friendship with Diana, her feuds with Gilbert, the mistaken wine bottle, and the saving of Green Gables. Whether the playgoer is an “old friend” of Anne’s or meeting her for the first time, this play will solidify a lasting friendship. Presented by the Midland Center for the Arts Youth Theatre Program. Tickets $14 adults, $10 students; plus processing fees. Regardless of age, everyone entering the theater will need a ticket, even if you expect a child to sit on an adult's lap. Performnce times are 7:30 pm Thurs - Sat., with 2:00 PM Saturday & Sunday matinees. Held in the Little Theatre at Midland Center for the Arts, 1801 W. St. Andrews.
