Chesaning River Days Festival 2016 - Sponsored by Chesaning Parks & Recreation with partnerships with the Chesaning Chamber of Commerce and Mexican-American Festival. Thursday, July 7th: Camping weekend begins (Pre-registration is not accepted, first come, first serve basis only.) Stay 2 nights get the 3rd night half off. Kids Fun Night in the park. Including, face painting and blow up play structures by Big Dog Entertainment 4pm-Dusk $5.00/Child. Chamber of Commerce Fireworks Show. Entry fee into the park will begin at 4pm - $5/vehicle. Friday, July 8th: Annual Trinity United Women’s Roast Beef Dinner 5-7pm at Trinity United cost is $10.00. Free Kids Movie Night in the campground (free popcorn) at dusk. Movie: Alvin and the Chipmunks, Road Trip. Mex-Am Concert in the tent 8p – 12a Rock Harley as Johnny Cash w/Longneck Strangler (FREE cover & 21 & Up only) 8p-12a. Saturday, July 9th: Softball Tournament; 8:00am – 9:00pm. Mexican American Festival Events: Shane Cantu Memorial Poker Run- Registration at Back 40 10-12p and end in Showboat Park. Honor Guard 10am Showboat Park. Hospitality tent open from 10a-12a. Corn Hole Tourney 12-4p. Live Music 8p-12a. Mexican Bingo 12-2p.. Homemade Wine Contest 1-3p.
