Deep Dive • Printmaking Processes

What even is printmaking? What is an etching? A screenprint? A lithograph? We will first explore different printmaking processes by observing the artwork currently on display in the Views from the Vault gallery and in our temporary exhibition SHAPE FORM COLOR. Afterwards, Education Manager Katie Mielens will take you down to the studio and demonstrate these different types of printmaking. You will also get a chance to try them for yourself!
