CLASS ACT
A Youth Theatre Workshop

August 1 – August 6, 2016 • 9am to 4pm Daily

A week-long intensive designed to allow students ages 12-18 the opportunity to develop their dramatic skills and appreciation for theatre with hands-on experience of every artistic aspect of it.
9:00 am – 12:00 Noon: Daily classes taught by Great Lakes Bay Area theatre professionals!
• Scenic Design & Set Building • Costume Design • Stage Management • Lighting Design • Scenic Painting • Marketing and Promotions • Hair & Makeup • Props • Sound Design • Producing & Unsung Heroes of Theatre • Playwriting •
1:00 – 4:00 pm: Daily rehearsals for an original production adapted & directed by Laura Brigham of Midland Center for the Arts
Saturday, August 6th @ 3:15pm: PUBLIC PERFORMANCE!

Lunch and snacks provided daily • $75 per student

CLASS ACT
A Mini Youth Theatre Workshop

August 6, 2016 • 12:00 Noon – 4pm

A one-day mini-camp designed to allow students ages 4-11 the opportunity to see a production, ask questions, and partner with students from the older group for a hands-on experience with several different design departments in the theatre. The children will be featured in the play that will be presented later that afternoon.

12:00 Noon: Check-in & Theatre Games
12:45pm: Class Act Performance & Talk Back with Students
2:30pm: Rehearse for Final Performance
3:15pm: PUBLIC PERFORMANCE!
•$25 per student
