The Temple Theatre Organ Club Presents: Safety Last

Posted in: Cinema

“Safety Last!” (1923) is a classic silent comedy starring Harold Lloyd. It follows a young man who, seeking success and love, stages a publicity stunt to climb a skyscraper. The film’s iconic scene features Lloyd hanging from a clock face, blending thrilling stunts with slapstick humor in a timeless cinematic masterpiece. Come to the Temple Theater to see and hear what it was like to experience a silent film back in the 1920’s! Andrew Rogers will provide the soundtrack on the Temple’s 1927 Barton pipe organ. A short reception to honor Ken Wuepper for his 70 years of service at the Temple Theatre will directly follow the film screening. Starts at 2 PM. 201 N. Washington, Saginaw, phone: (989) 754-7469
