A 6.5-mile, self-guided,one-way auto route meanders past forests, grasslands, marshes, open water pools, and the Shiawassee River. Along the way you will find observation platforms and parking areas where visitors have many opportunities to see a great diversity of wildlife. Shiawassee National Wildlife Refuge, 6975 Mower Road, Saginaw . Gate opens near dawn and closes one hour before dust. Free Admission. 989-777-5930.
