Formed in 2004, XiiR, pronounced “X, double I, R”, (X-treme International Ice Racing) is a Professional Racing tour… ON ICE! X-treme indoor ice racing is the one of the fastest grow- ing winter racing series. XiiR keeps getting bigger and better each season … drawing bigger crowds, more sponsors and riders from all over the globe. XiiR has two professional classes. The Speedway Bike class and the Quad class. Speedway bikes and quads are modified to compete in an indoor ice arena. Man and machine go from 0-60 mph in under 3 seconds! There are over 2000 metal studs added to the tires and there are NO BRAKES! Competitors consist of elite riders from all over the world. Each event has a total of twenty to twenty-five races.
