It’s easy to say that the impact of the Castle Museum Millage Renewal on August 3 is a small one. The renewal is for one-fifth of a mill and it means the owner of a $50,000 home would pay about five dollars per year while the owner of a home valued at $100,000 would pay about ten dollars per year.

The boundaries have expanded through Buena Vista Township, and into portions of Bridgeport and Spaulding townships, because of a population decline.

OK, OK so I’m exaggerating. There were five shade trees. But I gotta tell you I’ve never experienced anything as grueling as four days in Bonnaroo except for maybe high school band camp – excruciating chart readings, incessant practice, lip injuries and plenty of unprotected sex.
