I'm not sure there are a lot of deep and profound things to say about Anna Nicole. I wonder if Marilyn was a cartoon joke like Anna in the sense that through the years an urban legend grew at how cool she was, until she became a legend greater than any woman ever on the planet, and became the symbol of female sexuality.

Dear Robert, What is up with the new Saginaw City Website? At least Mayor Ham and her staff made themselves available to residents through email and responded promptly. It appears Mayor Cottrell has stepped back in time and has robbed residents of this valuable resource? Has the Mayor bought some bad advice? Since she has little money to work with, why not have Saginaw students administer this for free in class, filter her mail and set her up a my space and youtube page and reach out to the people that voted her in? It is proven the internet is much more cost effective than the phone, plus she has a free resource to assist with recovery of this city.

While being a musician doesn't exactly make it a simple life, songwriter Jeff Ott has found a niche along the path to help smooth things out. Currently visible with his role as keyboardist/vocalist with The Sinclairs, Ott has managed to release a debut CD of original material, which is picking up steam here in 2007.

Hello. I picked up a copy of the current issue of Review as I do every couple of weeks and just got around to thumbing through it last night. I was very pleased to see such a glowing review of the OHL All-Star Classic and more than a little surprised to see that the writer even gave me a nod for my design work in the "HIGHLIGHTS" section of the article.

Appearances can be deceiving, especially when it concerns the passionate and artistic side of human nature.  Barry Kane is a perfect example.  Upon first glance, one can tell his love for motorcycles & music by the leather jacket & long hair; but unless you've met, rode or played with the man, you'd probably underestimate his love for history and commitment to supporting the local live music scene.

Editor's Note:  As Governor Jennifer Granholm proposes yet another new two cents per dollar regressive 'service tax' on businesses that in recent years have formed the largest growth segment in Michigan's economy, it is apparent that while the wealthy have Republicans to look after their interests, and the poor have Democrats protecting them, the middle class is openly threatened, and at risk of becoming an endangered species.

One of the coolest musical duos in Michigan's recent music history performed at White's Bar a few Saturdays back, opening for the excellent Jamie Sue Seal and the Radiotown Flyers. They are called The Hummingbirds, based out of the Ann Arbor area.
